The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Integer Overflow or Wraparound via the FITS image loader process. An attacker can cause a heap buffer overflow by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted FITS file, potentially leading to application crash or execution of arbitrary code. This is only exploitable if a user opens a malicious FITS file in the application.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the opening of untrusted FITS image files and, if not required, removing the application using the system's package manager.
