The probability is the direct output of the EPSS model, and conveys an overall sense of the threat of exploitation in the wild. The percentile measures the EPSS probability relative to all known EPSS scores. Note: This data is updated daily, relying on the latest available EPSS model version. Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Heap-based Buffer Overflow in the read_channel_data function when processing Paint Shop Pro (PSP) image files. An attacker can execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service by convincing a user to open a specially crafted PSP image file.
This vulnerability can be mitigated by avoiding the opening of untrusted Paint Shop Pro (PSP) image files and only processing image files from trusted sources. If the application is not essential, consider removing it to eliminate the attack surface.
