Overview
Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Out-of-bounds Read in the file-tim process when opening a crafted 4bpp TIM image that triggers promotion to an RGBA layer. An attacker can access adjacent heap memory contents and potentially cause a crash by supplying a specially crafted image file.
Workaround
This vulnerability can be mitigated by not opening TIM image files from untrusted sources.
