CWE-285  (opens in a new tab)

How to fix?

A fix was pushed into the master branch but not yet published.

Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Improper Authorization due to improper propagation of versioning data during the Trusted Application loading process. An attacker can load applications signed with revoked or downgraded subkey chains by exploiting the failure to update the key->version field, which prevents the rollback database from advancing and enforcing subkey version checks.
