Overview

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Use After Free in the gdbr_pids_list function within the GDB client core. An attacker can cause memory corruption or execute arbitrary code by sending malformed thread information responses that trigger a failure in qsThreadInfo after qfThreadInfo has allocated memory, leading to double-free conditions during error handling.
