function is under high load or unresponsive, servers intended for non-AD DC purposes can erroneously start and compete for the same unix domain sockets. An attacker can disrupt AD DC services by initiating multiple incompatible RPC listeners, leading to partial query responses and issues such as "The procedure number is out of range" when using tools like Active Directory Users. This is only exploitable if the RPC server experiences a high load or unresponsiveness.
