Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization in the set_config_value process. An attacker can disable outbound TLS peer verification by setting the ssl_verify configuration to 'off' as a non-admin user with SETTINGS permission, allowing forged certificates to be accepted for any outbound HTTPS request. This enables interception and manipulation of secure traffic by an on-path attacker.
